FO Elephant Spring Dress

Image
Zooey told me her elephant needed a spring dress.  So, this is the one I went with. Project Details:  Started on April 24th and finished on the 30th.  I didn't work on it non-stop.  It is a little cupcake dress that is a free pattern on Ravelry.  I went up one size needle from the last knit and think next time I might go up one more.  I used left over sock yarn.

FO Spud the Sheep

Image
Project Details:  I've wanted to make Spud for a while.  Zooey's teacher asked for a sheep, so I thought it was the perfect time to try out the pattern.  I used the Spud & Chloe yarn (which I like for stuffed animals) and size 4 needles.  I started on April 20th and finished on April 29th.  The body was the longest part of the knit (all the twists).  I did go to youtub and watch how to do them.  I really loved the pattern and how it was written!

FO Beaded Shawlet

Project Details: Started on April 9th and finished on April 22.  I have tried to destash this yarn multiple times.  But the problem is I had 2 skeins and I spent $20/skein (and who wants to spend that).  So, instead of destashing I decided to look up a pattern that used all the yarn.  I found this nice shawlet .   I'm really happy with how it turned out and I think it is going to make a great holiday gift!

FO Hedgehog Fibres

I have a total of 8oz of  this roving.  I only spun 4oz so far.  350 yards of sport weight.  70%  Shetland and 30% silk.  June club colorway.

FO Elephant Stuffed Animal

Project Details: Started on April 4th and finished on the 8th.  The longest part of this was actually the dress.  If I were to do it again I would probably knit the dress on a 3mm needle not 2.75 (since it uses fingering weight yarn).  I used Spud & Chloe sweater yarn which worked really well.  The instructions were 14 pages long but really well written .   I think I will make some other clothing for her soon!

FO SOCK!!!

Image
Project Details:  the pattern is a simple rib called time traveler.  I started them on February 11 and finished on April 2nd.  This is my first pair of socks in years!  It felt good to work on them and even better when I split the skein to begin with.  I had no idea that just splitting the bell would make me more excited to finish the socks up!  The yarn is Northern Lights by OnTheRound and pretty nice.
