Nuclear Knits: Where knitting is the bomb!

I finished this a while ago. Yes. Another felted ring. I just can't stop. I might need a felting intervention.

Pre -felting photo. Yes ... they are big. Post felting photo. Project Details: Started on November 19 and finished on November 21. I only worked on them for a few hours - then of course came the finishing work (so the felted flowers, beads and stems came next). These are for my mother-in-law. I hope she enjoys them! I do believe I'm addicted to felted clogs ... I blame Anne (darn you for this pattern!).

It isn't often that a magazine shows up and I want to make almost everything in it. I'm now going through my Ravelry queue and putting most of this issue in there. When will I have time to make all of these? I'm going to spend part of the first week of December matching up projects with stash yarn - that way I think I'll be ready for some 2010 knitting!

A while back Anne came over and took a look at my spinning wheel (I was having issues with the drive band fraying and popping off). Well, sad to say, that I haven't spun on it since then - and now that I have fiber prepped and am ready to go .... I can't get the cord to stay on the wheel. Not even for a short period of time. I have no flipping idea what changed from the time that Anne was here until now - but something has. I'm so frustrated and irritated that I just moved the wheel to the side - and said f-that. Tonight I guess I'll just have a cup of tea and knit.

Finished my last holiday stocking. I really enjoyed knitting it - even if it did take me longer than I wanted. Details: A kit from Annie's Woolens , size 10 double point needles, started on November 1st and finished on November 18. Mind you I was in Japan for a week - it really didn't take me that long.

I'm working through the stocking. I've turned the heel and am working on the foot. Hoping to finish up soon!! I know it isn't blocked ... but that will come soon.

Well given that I really haven't gotten any fiber work done in the past week I'm feeling a bit behind schedule. I got a new skein of yarn (with a pattern) from the Denver Yarn SOTM club (although I'm not casting on another pair of socks for a while). I also got the next months fiber from Oceanwinds Knits (I still have to finish spinning up the last batch). Goal - to kick butt this week!
