WIP ... Small

Well we had our little girl last Thursday. 6 weeks early and only 3 lbs 6 oz. She is currently and has been in the NICU. We have no idea for how long. You would think a lot of sitting around would mean I'd get great knitting done. In reality I'v gotten very little. I am however working on this scarf. Interesting enough. Not too hard. And portable.

I got this as a kit at our local fabric/quilt store. It only required cutting stuff out and a lot of hand work. Fun to assemble though!

FO Baby Socks

Project Details: I started these in the hospital on March 4th. I finished today March 8th. I used left over sock yarn.

FO Cat Woobie

Image
Project Details: I cast on on February 21st. I found the start to be the hardest. With so many stitches it took forever. But once I started decreasing it went fast. I used 4 balls of GGH Baluga (and paid no mind to the fact that there is no cat on the planet that looks like this). I finished on March 6th. I think these are great Norwegian colors - my hubby thinks they are Kazakhstan colors. Which ever I hope our little girl likes this Woobie. I was asked about the size - it is a 14" square (you can see how it looks in my hands).

It has been a bit since I've posted. Currently working on a little girls cat Woobie blanket. All I need to do is some finishing work now!

WIP Woobie

I've been working on this Woobie. Well over 300 stitches for the edge - nearly killed me. I did get through it though and I'm now decreasing stitches now (which makes me happy)!

Well there is nothing like your honey saying, "Can you knit something up as a gift for tomorrow?". The answer is of course yes - I live on the sofa now. Here is a little rolled brim hat and another pair of baby Jane shoes. Quick and adorable!
