Nuclear Knits: Where knitting is the bomb!

This was a simple McCall's pattern that has lots of variations.  I got the fabric from a garage sale and it was marked 1969.  I washed it and then cut it out.  There is zero give to the material - next time I make this dress I will use a more elastic material.  Also the sleeve instructions sort of suckered.  But otherwise it only took me a few hours and came out cute!

Project Details: This was a run crazy fast knit.  I might have to make it again.  Started on May 15 and finished on June 1st.  I can see doing this out of scrap yarns next time.  Really does fit 6 months to 4 years as well.  The edging is icord and really fun!!!

This was the perfect travel project.  Started May 15 and finished on the 23rd.  One full skein of sock yarn.  Needs a good was and block!

Let me start off by saying a sweater out of sport weight - why do I do this to my self?  These things take forever!  Project Details: I started on November 8th 2014 and finished today May 8th 2015.  I know!!!!  I held two strands of yarn together to get the gauge I needed on size 7 needles.  I only wish it was a bit longer (but since it was bottom up I didn't know how long to make it).  I love how fitted it is and it is very very soft (which are good things).

Project Detail: Falling Water Shawl .  I started this on January 23rd and finished it on February 17th.  I had some good car driving in there to finish it up.  Took 550 yards of yard and came out just perfect.   I liked the pattern a lot and I made the large size on size 8 needles.  The only thing that was strange was that I had to move the stitch markers for the repeats every RS of the pattern and the chart seemed a bit off.
