Nuclear Knits: Where knitting is the bomb!

I feel like there isn't enough time in the day. With work and Zooey I don't do much else. This is a project for a swap that I have to finish by the end of June. Yes I am feeling pressure! 4 repeats done and 12 to go!

I love Spoonflour. Let me just start with that. I got this fabric and all you have to do is cut it out and sew it. I have an ABC book as well (one of my next projects). Of course this means I will need to figure out the names of all the star wars critters now!!

A number of these blocks came from Quilt Bee members and the rest I finished. I plan to quilt it this weekend!!

I finished up the May Quilt Bee block. It was really fun and I learned some cool ways to use strips (like in a jelly roll). I think I'll try and finish piecing the red/black/white quilt tomorrow!

I've decided to start making some of Zooey's clothing. For that I have purchased some books and I'll start looking at fabric. A number of these are for bigger girls - so I'll start with the little girl clothing!

I got the fabric for the April quilt bee exchange. All I had to do was make a star. Here is what I came up with. May's kit just showed up today as well!! Quilt bees are amazing!

I did it. I have something to update on a Wednesday!! I'm working on another stuffed animal. This one is the Entrelac Sheep. It is pretty fun so far! But I'll have to keep you posted!
