Nuclear Knits: Where knitting is the bomb!

Are you wondering how far along I am on the sweater?  I've finished the body and I'm this far on the first sleeve!

I've always wanted an old fashion factory so k knitting machine.  I finally broke down and bought one (that has been re-finished of course).   What is interesting about these machines is that they take a precise hand and a lot of practice.  But once you figure them out; I've heard they go super fast (9 minute per sock).  I'm still practicing - but liking it a lot!! This was my first test sock.  Not really a sock and Zooey just wanted to play with it!

Do you remember this sweater? I started it last December.  I hate the pattern and the instructions are crap- but I think I will like the finished item.  So I continue to try and finish it.  My new goal is to have it done before December 12th this year! Also remember this sweater I made a long time ago??  It finally fits Zooey!!

Here is another holiday gift for Zooey.   Project Details:  a kit from my LYS.  I started on November 2nd and finished on November 6th.  Quick and fun.  Size 8 needles and a piecing nightmare!

Mike wanted a kit for dirt biking.  Here is what I came up with.  He is really happy with it and I made a second one for his friend!

Another holiday project finished!  This will go in Zooey's stocking.  It is the baby version of the adult stuffie I did for her last year.  This came as a kit from KnitWhits - and took one day to knit.  The assembly took a while!
