Nuclear Knits: Where knitting is the bomb!

   I finished my first stretch t-shirt.  The project failed at first.  Seeing stretchy cotton is tough!  But my second attempt came out better.  The fabric and pattern were free from an estate sale.  The pattern is Simplicity 6902 .  The pattern is from 1975 which is pretty sweet.  I made no changes to the pattern and worked hard to match up the stripes.  Overall the neckline isn't perfect - maybe next time!

I've decided to pick this back up.  Let's hope I can finish it before the end of the year!  April is done!!!

Project Details: 3 skeins of Ella Rae Mega Super Bulky yarn.  I don't think I will ever knit with this again!   Too small for me - I'll have to gift it to a tiny person.  I used size 15 needles and it took me from December 22 to January 1st to finish.  It was suppose to be a one day knit.  I guess I don't knit that fast any more.
