FO Bee Hat

Image
Project Details: I dyed some yarn just for this hat.  I wanted something yellow with a bit of brown in it and I think it came out really well.  The pattern, Beeswax Hat, came out a bit loose, but I think that should be okay.  It took nearly 250 yards a a while to knit (since the cables take a bit of concentration).   Started on November 25th and finished on February 2nd.

FO - My Rainbow Hearts

Image
Project Details: Size 1 and 3 needles.  I used left over yarns and made these cute rainbow mittens.  The pattern was worth the price on Ravelry and I'm really happy with how they came out.  Started on January 11 and finished on January 26th.  I used something like 300 yards of solid and 250 of colored mini skeins.

Dummy Clap Shawl - FO

Image
Project Details: Started on August 23rd and finished on January 25th.  This was my traveling just pick up shawl.  Trivial to knit and a pain to drop stitches.  The silk/wool blend of the Hedgehog singles was tough.  I used 2 skeins of Silk/Merino Singles from Hedgehog Fibres.

2017 Year in Review!

I got a bit of my crafting mojo back this year.  The tour de socks helped a lot with sock knitting.  Mike made a stand for my hand crank sock knitting machine.  I hope to use it a bit kore.  I am trying to work through roving - which I have a ton of! Roving Spun - 1856 yards Knit - 11973 yards Given how many yards of yarn I still own I need a other massive year to work through my stash! Happy start if 2018!!
