DC Knitting

I was in Washington DC this past week and I spent a few hours just relaxing and knitting in the "big city feel". I like really busy places where people are constantly running in and out and you sit still. Working your yarn and enjoying the chaos that is other people's lives. Here are the Taos Thanksgiving toe up socks that I'm working on. The question of how tall to make them and what is the best toe up pattern (with the fewest holes) is still a question.

I am almost done with another pattern. A cabled vest out of chunky wool. Hopefully I'll have it posted this weekend!
