F.O. Spinning Birthday Update

Roving.

Singles.

So I finally finished spinning something again. Go figure right? Well this is 400 yards of what used to be Fingering weight (but after washing it it puffed up again). I did lace/fingering singles and then plyed it. Colorway Sea Side Town from Serenity Stitches. Mix of 75% merino and 25% nylon (superwash). My plan was to design a pair of socks with this - but now with the new poof I'm not sure I want to.

I've decided I'm a bit done with superwash spinning for a while. I need something that keeps it shape!

  3. I would have never thought those colors would look good together as yarn, but the end result is beautiful! Nice work!

    Happy Belated Birthday!
