There is this great blog hop that I joined. It is called bowls with boarders. Regina came up with this great paper piece pattern - which I used to stack them this high. Please check out all the other bowls for today! Birgit H. Vicki B. Monika G. After that I decided my love of hexagons had to come out as well. This was an incredibly fun project! You should check out the rest of the bowls on the site. So impressive!
Better to knit something you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteKnitting what brings you joy is very important.
ReplyDeleteGood call. I'm all about knitting, crocheting, stitching what's calling to me. OTOH, I knit a lot of mindless stuff right now because I don't seem to have much bandwidth for focussing steady for very long these days.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors - they'll be fantastic mitts!
ReplyDeleteYou're smart! Do what you love! Pretty yarn though no matter what you make. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMittens are way more visible anyway. Why stuff such a pretty yarn into your shoes when you can admire it on your hands all day!
ReplyDeleteLife’s too short to knit projects you don’t enjoy.
ReplyDeleteFunny how that goes isn't it. I will knit socks and socks and socks and then tire of that and as of late it it sweaters, and in the past it has been shawls. Only knit what makes you happy is my motto.
