FO Low Tide Cardigan

Blocked and Finished
Project Details: Low Tide Cardigan.  Started on May 12th and finished on June 16th.  I've also liked to look at when I queued patterns.  This one was queued on December 27th 2012.  It looks like I queue things and often start them early after that.
I used 5 skeins of Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino (which is fingering weight) on size 5 needles.  There was a lot of funky construction to this top and I'm not sure I like the finish on the sleeve ends or the bottom.

After I first blocked this I hated it.  You can see in the photo below that the left and right side are not even and it is way too large!  I got it moist again and dried it for a bit.  This didn't help much - but for some reason when it fully finished drying it looked much better.
Looking crappy with pjs and too large!

  1. I really love the color on this. Superwash always seems to get funky and big for me. I often toss it in the dryer for a short time and it seems to bounce back into shape......

  2. Did you make a final decision about it?

  3. I think it is very nice, I especially love the top part with the lacy details. And the colour just adds to it, beautiful.
