My goal for July was to finish this handspun scarf!  I made it with time to spare.  This drop stitch scarf was boring but came out great.  After I finished I moved onto August’s project (fingerless mitts).  They have turned out to be a very fast knit.  I’m happy for that since the scarf felt slow!

  1. At this rate, you'll be done with those mitts before July is out! I love the handspun colors. That scarf was the perfect pattern for the yarn.

  2. Whoa! Your mitts are practically finished! What do you have planned after those?

  3. What a gorgeous model you have for your scarf. I love the yarn you are using for those mitts (as I sit here sweating in the July heat)

  4. The scarf looks so interesting, the change in textures so compliments your handspun yarn. The mitts wll turn out great, too.

  5. That scarf is great! As Ella says, it has a beautiful texture with the handspun, the two work really well together.

  6. Both projects are great - I really like the dropped stitch effect.
