Week 4/52 YOP21

I’m feeling like progress has been better than expected.  I had for July just the Drop Stitch Scarf.  I finished that up and then moved to project 2 on the list.  Fingerless Mitts !  I used a sport weight yarn and ended up with a bunch left over.  Thinking another pair of mitts or a hat!

Since these went fast I cast on for October’s Project.  Selago Sunset.  I’m using yarn I’ve had forever and never found a good enough pattern for.  Has that ever happened to you?  I spent too much on the yarn and nothing seems perfect enough for it.

I hope to finish this early too!  Fingers crossed

  1. Love the mitts and know exactly what you mean - I have far too much yarn that is waiting for 'the" project to come along!

  2. Great mitts, and great colour too. A matching toque is a great idea!

  4. That is some really lovely yarn you've chosen for those mitts, such pretty colours. A matching set would look great.

  5. Love the colors of your mitts yarn. Love the sheen that silk adds to yarns.

  6. Quivet is SOO soft and warm! I made a lace scarf that I wear on the coldest days!!
    Great job on your finishes!
