First off I'm a day early on the tour (I normally take 3 days to get through 4oz during the tour). But, since I felt behind I had to kick some butt.

Yarn Details:
This was last May's fiber club from Funky Carolina. 4oz of polwarth fiber (which I had never used before). The fiber is extremely long and sticky - but was exactly what I wanted to spin up (after the last couple superwash disasters). It came out DK weight and 214 yards. The colorway is clumsy.

    OK, bare with me as I do not have a clue - did you buy the fluffy pile colored? Or did you die the colors? You do buy the fluffy pile right? Or do you somehow make that as well? I love the colors of these rolls you made. Do you call them bolts? ha ha, I really do not know - but I do know that I like it! These colors together make me very happy. What are you going to make with it?

Weeks 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26

Yep.  I have totally slacked on updates.  I’ve been actively working down my year of project stuff.  But it has been a hot minute since I posted.  Let’s cover the good. I finished a few things.  A sweater (Sylvia) that has been on the needles for a year.  Roving that has been sitting for a year and the Hitchhikers shawl that was part of my planned year of project work.   Now for the bad.  I have two projects on my year of project list that just aren’t speaking to me.  One is a pair of mittens on fingering weigh and the other is fingerless mitts (which the pattern is just painful).   In the new year I plan to assess what is working and what I’m hating and focus on the things I enjoy.  Life is too short to work on projects we hate! On my list for yop I still have 3 official projects to complete.  I might swap the sweater pattern.  The plan for the week is coming together!

For those of you out there still wondering ... yes the Yogini sweater is coming along. I'm probably only 2 inches from finishing the second sleeve and then the trim. I know, I really should work harder to finish it!
